It goes: first pipe, maf sensor(black sensor housing), Filter. Strap the filter to the sensor.

theres another sensor between the filter and the MAF housing though, it screws into the long pipe. what do i do with that?

you can also buy pipe pieces at most auto stores, especially places like performance improvements. Find the right size, pop a hole and a rubber gromet in, and you are good to go. This would let you replace the whole part before the MAF sensor for winter, and easily go back for the summer.

What sensor is it? As far as I know, the only stock sensors on the intake are near the throttle body, and the MAF. A Picture would help.

There is the little on ahead of the MAF (or is it behind, I can't remember at this second and I'm not going out in the rain to find out). But it is the air temp sensor.

yeah its in between the filter and MAF, should i just drill a new hole and put it in? is it even worth it? or should i just trade someone straight up cai for sri

I have never seen it. Where was it placed on the stock setup?

it's an intake temp sensor

It's not critical. You can just strap it to the intake or somewhere you choose.

I went ahead and drilled a hole in the back of the filter and snapped it in so it is still " applicable"

On the stock airbox, it is actually plugged into the backside of the airbox

i converted my Injen into an SRI cause i don't trust rain puddles here

I remember now! Hmm...Might be a good idea to make a separate piece for converting to SRI.

i have an idea =]
im going to use the second half of the tube (if possible i cant see it now im at work still) that already has the hole for it, instead of the first half. hopefully the two halves are similar sizes and shapes.
