tpms change over

I am putting different rims on tomorrow. Can someone that saw the process tell me if you can take the nut off and pull the valve stem out from inside the rim in one peice?? Can you just place it on the new rims??? I hear tell of a rebuild kit , any insight is welcome~~

Depends on the wheels that they are going to. A lot of older wheels are not TPMS compatible.

you have your own tire machine? if not you can just let the ppl know you have TPMS so they are a little more carefull removing the tires

Take the ferrule nut off, push the sensor inside the wheel + tire assembly, take the tire off, recover the sensor, replace the seal, put the new tire on, push the tire down by the arm on the tire machine, install sensor from underneath, torque the ferrule nut down to spec.
