sparkplugs are more of a personal choice than anything... you'll notice a big difference with any new plugs right away, then it fades... but performance wise, i doubt you'd see a noticeable gain with different plugs in the longterm... just my opinion.

You will not get any noticeable gains above what any new spark plug would give you. This sort of thing happens a lot - people need new plugs, so they get "high performance" ones and then claim to see a benefit, when the real benefit came from just getting rid of your old, worn out spark plugs.

Just stick with stock NGK plugs - they're the best. If you are really looking to upgrade, go with the NGK iridium plugs. That's what I'm running.

I used standard NGK's gapped at .039(manual calls for .043 +.000 -.004) for over years(replacing every winter/summer), put this fresh set in and used them for 5 days, then decided to just do an experiment....got some NGK iridium IX or whatever the iridiums by NGK are and then put them in with a .039 gap. WOW what a difference!!!! not really much noticble power but it runs a hell of a lot smoother and revs to redline cleanly with no missfires. Next I got an 8mm silicon insulated wire kit and made some wires. Installed them and well now it feels even stronger. cool!

When you say "put this fresh set in", were you reffering to standard ngk's or e3's?

yeah sorry I have been using standard ngk's for over 5 years and then recently put in a fresh set of standard ngk's. then I did an experiment to see the difference between the standard ngks and the iridiums....

the engine is tuned to the ones that come stock on the car,

you won't notice any difference between the e3's and ngk's.

as stated, any noticible increase in t-r or power will just be the fact that you have new plugs.

it may run smoother at idle but it's all the same in the end IMO
