Exhaust leftovers

Anyone else's paint stained from the exhaust? I have a 2.5L and it seems the exhast tips are too far back. My white paint is a little dirty and I can't get it off...even with tar gone...

I haven't noticed anything like that yet. But if that starts to happen I will be pissed. Did you try some cleaner wax applied by hand? If that is an issue, definitely keep the area above the exhaust tips very well waxed.

I'm heading there next. I have a three stage wax I'm going to go get on there......wish they would have put the black protectors similar to the underside of the handles under there... <sigh> Love the car..hate the little stuff.

update, worked like a charm, thanks! FYI, I use Meguire's 3-step, three different bottles three applications..

I don't have that problem. The paint around the exhausts is still clean and clear.

Wonder if it shows up more on the white?

I have a CWP 2.5 and haven't noticed that at all. I'm sitting at 1470 miles. You?
