2010 Tech System GPS

The GPS on the M3 seems to have most of the data on a SD card. Has anyone heard of any hacks or mods for this?

I haven't messed with the GPS much on ours or looked into it yet.

I've found the telenav service that comes with my Sprint phone is better than any car or portable GPS I've ever used. Maps are current, includes traffic, points of interest are current, etc... I've already found a few roads that were built two or three years ago that aren't even in the cars system.

I use Google Mobile Apps with my Sprint phone, it uses Google Maps for GPS with Streetview and traffic, etc. sometimes.

No one has an answer for that, because I've been looking around for the same thing. Can'T find which company this nav come from.

I tried putting it in my new macbook and it would not see it but on the windows partition it saw it but would not mount it. I wish I could edit the screen portion to get rid of the clock/temp and the low light part underneath it. This should be a given within the system to remove that if you don't want it.

Saw somewhere about a $150 update in late 2011.....seems expensive for a update?
