Benefits of ceramic coating

I recently bought the Thunder Turbo Manifold and weighing up the option getting it ceramic coated. Can someone please advise me of the benefits and whether it is worth it for the price?

ceramic coating is used by subaru guys to prevent manifold cracking. hence why i coated my stocker

Oh I thought ceramic coating had something to do with helping insulate the rest of the engine from heat off the manifold.
