Agreed.

I have the TRZ motor mount only, street durometer of course. I tightened down the bolts in the rear first, then the front of the mount next - which I hear is INCORRECT. I have some excess weird vibes whenever the car is on a hill and the engine is pushing back towards the rear of the car. Does anyone else notice this with the firmer MM?

When the motor is pressed hard into the mount and the transmission it really chirps and shakes and such. Considering reinstall the front first, then the rear.

i have the poly rear mm and love it!
as stated there are a few more vibrations especially when AC is on, but the benefits of added shift feel, lack of wheel hop, and overall communication from the car far outweighs a few vibrations. i actually like the way the car feels, because i know what the engine/trans is doing in certain situations.

I have the poly and honestly after about 1 week I never noticed the vibes anymore. As far as the shaking mirror goes, I'm pretty sure that will go away.

I have both mounts, mainly for piece of mind. I've learned to like the winding/whining noise it makes when excellerating hard, it sounds badass.

i've got the trans mount also. i love hearing everything while you shift. all the extra vibes come with the territory though. i'm going to be getting the dogbone rear mount today. i'm expecting even more noise but not having to worry about the stock rear mount tearing will be a welcomed plus.

I wanna do it today...

shit. I have the car up on jackstands and everything all nicely and I'm just too scared to go under there and yank the thing out. The bolt it torqued in there nicely and I don't want to yank to hard... I'm just scared the engine/car will friggen fall on me!

Yeah, I did it. From start to finish it took like... 20 minutes only because the bolts were on there so damn tight. Now the car just hooks up and drives, no grinding, missing gears or anything like that. Very nice!

It's easy...EASY. After it's jacked up, you crawl under the car and the mount is right over you head. 2 bolts and it's out! The tranny wings foward right out of the way and it falls out (wear eye protection under there please). Put the new one in place, wire brush the old locktite off the bolts, apply the new locktite and crank them down. Someone did a great walk through on how to do it with pics but that's the basic of it. I've installed all my own mods and this was by far the easiest mod I've done.

On a side note they ARE great mounts! I got mine used from a forum member so I didn't have the harsh break in period like some others. Good luck installing and if youo have any questions youo don't think the walk through answers feel free to PM me.
