I have the ATP FMIC and really like it. My last Dyno all three runs were withing 4hp of each other so very consistent compared to a TMIC.

I think the kit comes with ether a HKS or Factory Flange but I'm sure they can probably add any flange you wish.

The only downside to the kit is that you loose the under tray for the engine. Also can't use a CAI and the factory shifter weight hit mine so I purchased the Cobb shifter weight.

On the upside, the install is a peace of cake and the FMIC mounting is easy as hell. The core may be small but it meets my needs and looks really good in the grill.

Where it runs is the front of the shield. So if you cut it there would be no way to mount/screw it in the front. Besides, having it gone makes changing the oil a lot easier. They designed the kit for easy install. There is no cutting or moving lines or anything. The install is as simple as it gets. It's probably not the best FMIC on the market but for me it suits the purpose and I couldn't beat the $400 with an HKS BPV :)

You can run the AEM as a Short Ram. I had the MS CAI and just made it a Short Ram before I got my Cobb. Or you can trade your AEM CAI for a SRI to someone. I was going to do that but I found a Cobb for 100 shipped.

I have ATP FMIC i like it is crazy on 3rd 4th 5th and 6th gear. You will feel the power the same day You install it, but after couple of days i will be faster.

I have heard of some fitment issues with this kit. And some people actually haveing to bend the pipes to fit. I looked at this kit from 2 venders and a local speedshop, and they said they would have to do some pipe bending for the fit, before i bought my cobb fmic

I would look at the PG FMIC kit, its cheaper, has better pipe routing, better finish etc.
