hi
i'm new on this web site
i have a lx protege with t3/t4 turbo,35mm wastegate, front mount intercooler
injector of wrx 420cc . i need help for my fic aem. i have a bug a 5000rpm the ecu cut fuel. last friday i go to dyno and the guy is not able to tune my car. he take a run the air/fuel is good in boost 11.5. he take another run the air/fuel in boost down to 16:S. do you can help me please

Are you running the stock ecu , or do you have a ems , did you say aem system

He has the aem fic for ems.

I believe you're maxing out your MAF so it's telling the ECU to go into fuel cut. You will need to clamp the MAF signal so the ECU doesn't see all the air actually coming in.

The F/IC isn't used all that often on our cars.. it just doesn't seem to work that well. There's a guy that made a thread in this same section about getting it to work, and I think I recall him using a MAF clamp or something of the sort. Lemme see if I can find it.

That should help you if you choose to continue down the F/IC road, but many of us will suggest using the Split Second Air/Fuel Calibrator (SS AFC v2) instead. It's much easier to install & tune, and it has been proven to work wonders on our cars. Good for up to 16 psi.

i don't have the mazdaspeed ecu. my maf is clamped at 4.5 volt, i think this is the first
o2 my probleme because he read the fuel and the air fuel is to rich he cut fuel !
