Well after living in England for 5 years(2003-2008) I was moving back to the USA. I had a good amount of money saved up for a car. My budget was about 15-22K. Found out that the MazdaSpeed3 was going to be released in white and figured I might just be able to bring that car in to my budget. Had my mother buy it for me under a power of attorney and the car was waiting for me when I arrived July 10 2008. I ended up paying about 23k with all options except Navi.

here is a recap of events(mileage)
-1k hardwired V1 radar
-2k upgraded motor mount
-5k TurboXS downpipe/testpipe
-5k HKS SSQ blow off valve
-5k Royal purple and Mazda genuine filter for every 5k from this point
-5k MSD dashawk
-8k BC coilovers and rear camber arms
-12k Cobb short ram intake
-15k someone hit and run the front bumper
-28k new tires(switched from summer to all season)
-32k the left HID bulb was knocked out of its place and cracked after hitting a huge pothole
-36k achieved this past weekend

Needless to say, I drive everywhere
2 speeding tickets. one was Jul '08 91 in a 70 and the other was 83 in 55 Jan '09

Car was bought in FL and is FL registered to avoid emission testing(thumb)
