the RKM is a fine kit. the forge is our best selling unit and for a car thats stock or even with the most bolt ons its a great performing setup. the interchangability of the springs and shims is a nice feature for when you decide to run more boost.

i dont like the rkm. it was originally marketed as 'identical to genuine HKS valve'. Then later it was found out that it was not....not a fan of knock offs.
I've seriously had about every valve out there... My favorite was the HKS and Turbosmart compact dual port (what I've ran now forever). Only reason I traded the HKS in was because the recirc line would not fit right with my FMIC setup and I got tired of running VTA. SU/turbosmart also has a new/cheaper bpv. As far as value....forge and the new TS one seem to be where it's at. I'm personally not a fan of the forge sound, but it does function well and is a good value. From what I've seen the new TS one sounds pretty much like stock, maybe a little louder/crisper blow off noise.

Not a lot of people seem to like the Forge sound. I was hoping for the Forge "ping" and I don't have it at all. It's is a GREAT valve though and out performs the TurboXS I had before.

i have the hks and really like it but it's true that on stock setup it's tough to fit correctly with recirc. hose - i haven't seen a kit that has all the parts just right yet! you need the flange that comes w/the cpe kit - you need pg garage's 1.25" recirc. fitting, and you need a silicone hose of your own that will not kink

Like said before Turbosmart BPV. Same price but no PING sound it sounds like a BOV but with out the "rich" results of having on.

yea, thats the only reason i got mine in full recirc is because of the backfiring. other than that, it works just fine.

I'm a fan of turbosmart dual port as well. Not only for its performance, but I think it looks the best out of the others in the engine bay.

shitting and backfiring are both issues that should covered by a little pepto

I thought I would, but I'm pretty used to it now. Its performance outweighs its noise factor ;)
