oil pressure gauge install

I bought an oil pressure gauge and it says that I have to install it into my engine block are there any other ways to install it like throught the oil pan?

You oil pan is not under pressure.

I believe most people use a tee fitting to tap oil pressure from the oil pressure warning light connection. Knowing the oil pressure is good, but so is knowing the oil temperature. Maybe you can have two tees and monitor both.

you can use a sandwich plate on your oil filter

Where can I order a sandwhich plate and all I have to do is put it between my oil filter and my filter mounting

Thanks for all the help but one more question I for the sandwhich plate on protege garage but I only found it for the 2.3 motor will that still for for me eventhough I have a 2.0?
