It's not what's wrong with FWD... It's what's wrong with spending a bunch of money turning a FWD platform into RWD, when you can probably have a cheap rwd car for the same price.

a cheap rwd car for the same price???? Whats you idea of cheap? He could have several cheap rwd cars for the price it would take to convert the msp to rwd! Hell he could have one hell of a build going on with money to spare vs converting everythign to rwd.

Let me correct myself... A cheap RWD car that make gobs of power and enough money left over to pay for any tickets you get. (ugh)

I agree, its simply pointless. Especially when you can find a 240sx with a SR20 for roughly $6k or $3k without.

Yeah i did it, it was really cheap and fun/easy to do took like 20 mins. Made my car slower though, but w/e i'll be swaping a LS7 in there soon.

now I remember why I love these forums (lol2). Next up... "cai vs sri", followed by "just picked up a msp; what's the highest I set the MBC @?"
Tune in later this week for "What's with this clunk???"

a couple uncles and buddys of mine had planned on doing a 13b twin turbo swap on my msp w/ rwd
i might still do it eventually
gotta hand it to us puerto ricans, we can get a rotary into anything =]
we estimated it would cost in the neighborhood of 7-12k being mostly parts as labor would be done by us

Don't think its been done and probably never will be. Limited production of this car means its not likely that it will ever land in the hands of someone with the bankroll and time to attempt it.
