Some low end Yokohamas. I'm too lazy to go look at the moment. Not the worst tires in the world, but the YK520's I had on my Toyota were better.

In my experiance---Michelins. But you pay a premium for those. I had good year Eagle GT's on my 6 and was very happy with them.

I just realized the treadwear on the yokahamas is 340....yeah. lets hope they make it to 25K miles.

Toyo Proxes A18 Typical all season OEM. Quiet ride, soft sidewalls, break loose easy during spirited driving. Just don't see them lasting very long in the south florida heat. Dealer said summer tires were'nt an option.

Toyo Proxes A18, but I had an unexplainable sidewall failure on the freeway at 4,000 miles and the Mazda dealer couldn't explain why but refused to Warranty it. Cost me $220; the complaint I made to MazdaUSA Customer Service afterward was completely ignored.

Bridgestone Turanza EL400 here.

Bought in Feb. and within days the wife had some issues with them in some snow/slush. No worries, the stock wheels are in the shed awaiting some snow rubber.

I have paid close attention to details as the 2010 models have been released and it appears that from base level i-sport you get Toyo , then S-touring is Bridgstone and finally top tier is Yokohama unless you get a Speed3 you get Dunlops - In the USA anyway?
