under the hood there should be a yellow wire coming off the battery (if i remember right its been a few years) There should be a little black cap covering the inline fuse. I hope this helps

Ok so my sub just quit and I have to post a lame question here: where exactly is the fuse at the amp? Is it inside the amp housing or am I just blind??

(the in-line one at the battery looks fine)

the fuse for the amp is located on one of the sides(I forget which side because there are 2 sides that have terminals and switches one of which has the fuse..)....you should have no problem finding it though.....it is on the outside of the case....you don't have to take anything apart to get to it....maybe it's possible that you can't find the fuse cause there isn't one in there....look for 2 slots where a fuse should be if you can't find an actual fuse...
