So I'm about to buy the ETS TMIC. (question my sanity if you must re: vs. fmic)
I'm currently running the Cobb AP stage 2 93 tune with ATR throttle smoothing tweaks. It's working very well for my car, I am enjoying it. I was going to sell the AP and had the stock tune back on, then put the stage 2 back and decided I can't live without it! (burnout)
My concern is - how good is the tune for + TMIC? Any of you running it?

12's to 11's last time I checked (i know I should check more often! (nailbyt) ) fuel pressure has been good and consistent as well.
So then I assume that the AFR's will be leaned out with a TMIC? I'll have to keep an eye on that post install. I would hope/think the AP +TMIC tune would adjust for that?

Thanks Ken. Just looked again and it goes even into 10's at times depending on the situation. I think I'm safe in the fuel dept.
Thank god my stock fp has been gtg so far. Been modded with intake, dp, and ap for 10k miles now, quite a lot of hard track time thrown in as well. All is well. (knock on wood). Figure it's time I treated the car to a few bits of improvement.
I want to buy the tmic from you if are willing to sell it to me (lol2) I prefer business on the phone though, left you a voicemail (kevin).

I'm running the TMIC map.. it works great. No problems at all.
Just make sure you have a cat. in your downpipe to get the best results.

I wish they made a TMIC map that didn't require a downpipe. But I guess that is what ATR is for.

ideally the best cobb tune will be done by a local cobb dealer on the dyno

Depends on my state of mind :)
Right now, I'm itching to buy a TMIC. The car needs it. I was on fire to buy a FMIC or TMIC several months ago, but couldnt' decide what I wanted then decided I didn't really need it yada yada.
So now, I know the car needs it, I know I want it, so I know I have to buy it before I talk myself out of it. Now I'm almost 100% talked myself into buying one of the few Cobb FMIC kits left. But I really wanted to keep my cost of TMIC/FMIC + TIP + BPV under $1k.
I might go for the $790 ATP kit. Trying to find some positive/negatives for the ATP kit. That would help keep me closer to the magic 1k mark.

Ok.
New topic.
AP stage 2 + Cobb FMIC tunes any good?
JSC will shortly have one less in stock...damn uncontrollable impulses.
In the end...it is the right thing to do (if upgrading ICs). I know this. Especially in the record breaking heat of Austin Texas summer this year. 160* BAT's :( Stock or not that is not good for a turbo'd engine.
Where is the cabbage patch dance smiley... :)

FMIC, TIP, and Forge BPV installed yesterday. AP tune changed.
So far so good. I may need to change the Forge spring to red, or add some shims to the blue.
Interesting noises now, there is a supercharger like whine, and the "shink" of the BPV, as well as lot more noticeable whoosh of air after the "shink" recirculation.
