AEM 1.6L and 2.0L intakes

So a local guy iss selling a bunch of 2.0L parts, including an AEM intake. Once i message him responds with this:

"just the pipe the pipe was not off the 2.0liter its off a 1.6l 1999 protege it might work they"

I was pretty sure they were different, but when i started searching online I couldn't find anything different, and I noticed that on PG they don't specify the engine size even though they do for other intakes. If anything I was under the impression there wasn't an AEM intake for the 1.6. Anyone know anything about this and could give me some insight?

if it's the same diameter as the 2.0 and if the maf sensor fits on then you're fine. you could use an aluminum tube as a matter of fact if you got the right holes in it.
