Hello All, - I am looking for some help, I want to move up to a 19" rim from mystock 17's on a 2004 Mazda 6.

http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.275188/it.A/id.7144/.f

This is the wheel I was thinking, my question is...which is a better choice considering the different offsets running on a 235/35/19 rubber. (stock suspension, not really thinking to lower time soon.)

19" X 8" 30

19" X 8" 40

19" x 8" 45

then i would go 45 offset but change your tires to 225 instead of 235. but if you consider lowering your car, i would go with 18's altogether. besdies, it's cheaper to find tires for 18's instead of 19's.

19's are not very well suited for this car...I am quite sure 18's would serve you better.

hey man, its your thing do whachu wanna do!

but seriously, if you car is completely stock, it'll prolly look really silly with wheels that big and that gawdy. especially if your not lowered.
if your gonna rock wheels that LOUD, ya gotta slam it at least!!!!

any of these my friend....

19's slow your car down and tires are more expensive. It also throws your speedometer off by a few miles per hour...

for best results you go wider, not larger rim size

the most badass looking cars in my and many others opinion tend to be 18's with aggressive offset, really wide rims and a good drop

bigger wheels also make your small calipers and rotors look even smaller :(

19" wheels have a larger rolling mass. makes your car accelerate slower and slow down slower. Tires are more expensive, makes the car ride rough.

As far as your wheel choice...I think it would look OK.

ok, after hearing your points makes sense i guess. With the money saved I guess I cook invest in lower the car....

So for 18's what would be the ideal size 225/40/18?

I still like the Konig Unown, or even Lace by Konig. Didnt really get an answer why buddy up top thinks they are ghetto.

the design is fugly... Its the kind of wheel you see on civics with altezza tail lights, a fart can exhaust, and different color body panels...

that wheel is meant for looks and not to go fast... Its heavy, the color combo is ugly, etc... its a tasteless wheel man...

...im not trying to be a jerk or anything, im just trying to save you the embarrassment of wasting your money on something thats going to hurt the performance of your vehicle...

if you want to pimp your ride, by all means, buy em...

have you looked at wheel companies other than konig, i mean enkei is at a similar price point for their performance series and there are some pretty clean wheels on there.

I have looked around, http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?wheelbrand=Enkei&wheelmodel=AKP&pc=452-875-6542BK

this is the only other rim I like but this would be in an 18" x 7.5" 5/114.3 42

what do you guys say the konig unkowns or the Enkei AKP?

sorry man, just cant relate to your taste in wheels.

i suggest, just for shits n giggles, go to the wheel thread and pick the sticky with all the wheel pics. may help put stuff in perspective.

choosing wheels is no easy task.

The Enkei AKP. It's brand new from Enkei. The Konig Unknowns are being disco'd anyway.
