Cobb Intake vs PG Intake

Anyone have any input on this? I am about to do my first upgrades to the car and I think the order is going to look like this

First Upgrades

Cobb SRI
Inlet (PG or Cobb)
Engine Damper
Short Throw Shifter
Shifter Bushings


Next Round

Access Port
Down Pipe


So I was wondering if anyone has used the cobb inlet. I hear the PG one is great, but I haven't seen much on the cobb one.

Also, let me know if you think I need to put a new BOV in there somewhere or if stock is fine until later...

Shifter bushings and motor mount should be done first i think. i personally have the trz dog bone motor mount and couldnt be happier. your #1 and #2 make no sense, you want the cobb sri first, then after that your trying to decide pg intake or cobb intake? there all intakes, maybe you meant turbo inlet?
here is a basic list in order:
1.) Motor mount
2.) Shifter bushings/ Short throw
3.) Intake (both choices are good)
4.) Testpipe (if going to run a catless downpipe, if not save up and get a full catted downpipe that replaces stock dp/mp)
5.) new bypassvalve

yeah he meant inlet. i see some posts about heat issues, is that why mazda made a plastic one?

Most of the first installs would be done around the same time so mount/damper would be one of the first things. I just happen to have a cobb tuning place about 15 mins from my house so I would probably get the SRI and inlet first.

As for the motor mount. From what I hear the engine damper is awesome, and you don't necessarily need to worry about the motor mounts at that point, but I will probably still do a rear motor mount eventually...

Do the motor mount for sure. It is supposed to basically transform the car.
