I know a lot of people have the type-r (engraved or plain) installed.
However, does anyone have the BIG type-r installed?
I'd like to see a difference, as I know the type-r is a bit smaller than stock. I want to see how the Big Type-r compares.
I know TWM has pics of both. But I have not seen the big installed, so I can compare.

Look at LaraW's pics. She has the big Type R knob.
Thanks. I thought she had the smaller one. I'll have to wait until she has her hosting fixed, all her pics are boned at the moment.

I have the Flat Black Big Type-R installed on my car. Got it after the metal piece on the stock shift knob started to get loose.
I'll take some pics today after work and upload them so you can see what it looks like.
I personally think it looks dead sexy especially with the 6-speed engraved on the top. It is also significantly more weighty than the stock knob.

It does look nice. If I already didn't have an aftermarket knob, I'd rock the big Type R.
Does your GPS fold into the ashtray?

nah... It just sits there. Thats the only decent place that i could find for it....cause i dont like things sitting on my dash obstructing my view (besides the radar detector)

Thanks, yeah I'm glad I went with the Big Type-R. It's sitting at home right now, can't wait to get home and play with my knob. Pun intended.
