This year's Wörthersee tour featured plenty of cars as usual. One of the eye-catchers present was the Volkswagen Scirocco coupe. Tuners HS Motorsport decided to take the tour out of its venue and into their workshop by making this car they call Remis. The Munich-based company started by reworking the standard 2.0-litre TSI engine to produce more power.

Coming from the factory the 2.0-litre registers 200hp (147kW) on the dyno. HS changed the air intake system and the exhaust system. The latter consists of a 70mm flame pipe, a new EU-approved catalytic converter, rear and front mufflers. Together these and one or two other additions now give the engine 290hp (213kW). HS doesn't stop there. Promises of a 320hp (235kW) pack have been made for the buyer with more performance requirements. Braking power comes from Brembo via special narrow one-piece discs and callipers.

The body kit is made of a carbon fiber front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper. The car runs on 245/30 ZR20 matt black rims with 9x20 with Vredestein tyres.

Inside HS installed heated Recaro Sportster CS seats with black Remis-special leather upholstery and white Remis embroidery.

Delete the Remis embroidery.

Agreed on the Remis embroidery, but I would rock that thing all day long!!

Remove the HSmotorsports vinyls.

Agreed. I think the VW emblems would look so much better if they were black instead of white.

It would fit the color scheme better. I like the black roof too.

The front reminds me a bit of the Evo X, but a little softer.

The rear quarters look like a G35/350Z. And from the back corner, the whole car looks like a shortened Dodge Magnum.

It's such an awkward car that you can't stop looking at it. I like it, but wow is that a weird one.

Its crazy low and wide. I am not in love with the high rear bumper.

I H8 black rims... but otherwise just do what everyone on here suggested, put on some silver, gunmetal, bronze, or polished rims and it is pretty badass.

Any of those colors you mentioned would not fit this car's color scheme at all...just sayin' I think black is the best in this case.

Yeah, I mean I don't own a white car with black trim and silver rims or anything....

And you may not realize this but STI's come white with black trim and bronze rims.

Black rims are ghey. There's no counter argument.

As mentioned by everyone else, delete the "Remis" embroidery. However, I feel it would look better with traditional silver wheels and badging. I agree with Knox and hate black wheels (especially with different colored lips). I also feel that black/white schemes (or two-color schemes in general) are boring and need a touch of a third color to break up the blandness.

Yep. Take the badging off and the white walls and it's all good :)

agreed on the Remis embroidery and the white emblems, other than that, it's a hot ride.

ditch the rims, and I don't want to see anything the resembles a white wall tire. that is one look that needs to stay in the past

I think the white body color with black accents really makes the car. I don't think the car would look all that great in most other colors.
