Anyone find a cheap place to get an alternator for the '03 msp?

You can just have yours rebuilt, that's what I'd do. Tell them you want yours back and tell them not to paint it, mark it. That's what I do with the MSP axles. I've replaced 5 MSP axles on different cars and there is something supposedly different about the MSP over the protege about the axles from what I remember.
