Hello every one, and happy father's day to all the Dads

Today I was checking all the reservoirs to make sure all the fluids were at the right level and decided to check the condition of the cables and hoses since I am planning to clean the engine bay..

So I found a cable the connected to a small aluminum part that is loos and I don't have a clue where is supposed to be connected. Here are pic's so someone can help me identify it.

I also found a conncetor that doen't have no cable connected to it, does it come like that or I am missing that cable?http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/FEIKkTsH0z6xt50W7PZnNQ?authkey=Gv1sRgCIaUqOD1k-D8jwE&feat=directlink

Every vehicle has one or more spare connectors, typically for options that are not included with the vehicle. I wouldn't worry about it. As far as the loose part, you might want to down load a service manual (in sections) from:

Thanks for the information I will download the service manual and identify that part.

as for the bracket it bolts to the timing cover to make sure the crank sensor wire doesn't get caught in the belt, the connector that has nothing to it is supposed to be that way, im not sure what its for but on my cars its always been unplugged
