Just did a quick mock up of how I'm gonna install some aftermarket pilot fog lights. I wanted to be able to keep the 03.5 lip and think this is the best method. I like the fact I can keep the fog delete covers to help stop broken fogs. If anyone wants instructions let me know and Ill take some pictures of the install. If anyone has done this before and has any tips please let me know.

that's gonna be weird with the deletes but if you like it then rock it.

I understand what you mean but I feel like its going to look good.

I took pictures now that I have the brackets made but it basically looks the same. Once I get the black surround in I'll post up more pictures. Oh does anyone know if the fogs would get hot enough to melt part of the deletes?

Pics with black plastic surround. Finished working with fog delete and black surround to make it fit.

Changed my plan and I think it turned out better. I made fog delete cover that also holds the foglight. Pics included. If anyone wants I can write up a how to.

I actually made them out of the top of a rubbermaid container. Just traced the deletes onto the top and used some gardening shears to cut it out. After that I used a dremel to make a hole in the middle big enough for the fogs. Sanded everything smooth and painted them black. I actually ended up using the black plastic peice that fits behind the mesh fog delete to hold them in place. I can post up a picture of the first one I made if you would like to see it.

^^ that would explain how my brother's were broken, there were big holes in the middle of them and only the frame was left pretty much, gotta stay away from those car washes I guess

I don't know if they have them but other than the FS section I would assume that mazda would be able to order them?
