I know theres another solution to connecting an Ipod. Just need a quick answer before I buy this cable. Will this work for the stock MSP Kenwood deck to an Ipod?

Well I bought it anyways and it works(for stock MSP Kenwood Headunit KDC-MP919). So far it works for my Ipod Nano(2nd Gen) and Ipod Classic. Best thing I like about it so far is the charging on the go, clear sound and you don't have to mess with the volume on the ipod. You can only control from the Ipod not head unit. Got it on Ebay for $16 shipped. Just giving an update to ppl who still wants to keep the stocker head unit.
This cable works for....
1GB, 2GB, 3GB, 4GB, 5GB, 6GB, 8GB, 15GB, 20GB, 30GB, 40GB, 60GB, 80GB, 120GB, 160GB, 1ST, 2ND, 3RD, 4TH, 5TH, 6TH, 7TH GENERATION,
iPOD, CLASSIC, NANO, TOUCH, VIDEO, MINI, AND iPHONE

Not sure if it works for ALL Kenwoods. Guess you'll just have to try it out. One thing to keep in mind. The Ipod does not shut off when car is off. Also keeps charging so you'll have to unhook the Ipod.

I got that same cable off ebay for $12, works great on my kenwood, its a similar model as the factory but 2 yrs newer, it should work on any kenwood that is capable of controlling a cd changer.
