tossed on the 19's and took her for a ride! Note: I won't be lowering the car since it's just the daily and I already have a low, uncomfortable car haha!

That's looking real nice. But drop it, at least on Mazdaspeed spring to fill the wheel gap.

Yep - MS3 springs. Maybe 100 bucks and install is super easy. DIY.

I like it with the standard gap. Some of us need the extra ride height.. (even if a little drop looks better). I just can't see navigating a foot of snow in a dropped 5 (though it mike make a bit of a plow)

Given enough speed, the 5 would more than push the snow right over the top (laugh)... however if you're trying ride atop the snow, you might get high centered.
I'd opt for keeping the 5 planted (lowered), and pushing snow over the top (rockon)

Looks good, and yeah, lowering is a not an option for me either, the ride for the family is already "stiff" enough all OEM :D, but maybe a taller tire might help the gap (and the ride)?
That is what I did with the 06 (17in of course), less gap and the ride is a little bit smoother...

jus put a lip on it and youll be a snow plow!as far as lowering cuz a family excuse, please its not a big difference it jus closes those horrific gaps. i got 2 kids and its my wifes daily driver.dnt blame your kids!! ur the dad, call the shots put some pants on!!lol

I am in the same boat. Wife isnt into the drop all that much but loves the difference the upgraded Rear Sway made so she is willing to try it out. I need the drop bad!

looks great. i am on 17's with a little taller tire. looks lowered now anyways esp. with the body kit on it. im not lowering the car but im putting on koni FSD, autoexe braces, sways, etc. get way better handling with no cost to bump ride. very smart family setup.
