How do you take out the stock radio in a 01 protege es? i can't figure it out for the life of me. Can you use those keys you use to take out normal radios? Also, is jvc or kenwood better?

I'm not huge on kenwood, their stuff is quality tho. JVC is crap.

How did you remove the cluster [includes the heater controls] to access the radio? I've got it pulled out about 2 inches but how do I release/disconnect whatever's holding it there please? I don't want to force it and break anything.

dont have to take out the cluster to remove the radio, you pull the little covers off the sides of the radio and use din removal tools to take it out
