After reading on wiki (?!) that putting FP pistons in the FS, you get the compression ratio of the FP (9.7:1). It is said that both engines have 83 mm bore. So wouldn't that make it possible for me to use the high compression pistons for the FS in my FP-DE (the 10.7:1 pistons)????
Can anyone verify or dismiss this idea???
Thanks
Niels

So no-one has an opinion???

yes you can use the FS-ZE pistons but the compression will be a bit less then advertised

But why is it, that the FS would get the 9.7-1 compression with FP pistons, but FP won't get the high compression, with the FS high-compression pistons??
And would would I get by using them in my FP-DE?? (the 10.7-1 pistons I mean)
Thanks

85mm stroke for the fp vs 92 or 93mm stroke on the fs which gives it higher compression with the same pistons.
