quite a few. but reliabilty is my concern. my real ideas are for the lx.

i plan, SS brake/clutch lines, CS FMIC and RAD w/ slim fans. exhaust, new rear springs, motor mounts, DG front lip, 03.5 rear.. etc

thanks all. well I installed the Enkei Evo5s today. they look sweet. couldn't take any pictures cuz it's storming like a bitch...

also i had a leak from the oil pan. i "THINK" it's taken care of. pulled off the pan, cleaned it really good, put a thick bead around the lip w/ black permtex.. we'll see. exhaust leak is next.. god that's annoying.. well.. and the wga.

i have no idea how to use a heat gun and compressed air in that manner.

it says it won't hurt paint.. that's interesting.. cheap enough that i could do it w/out caring.. soo. i'll give er a try tomorrow.. ijust doubt if it worked at all, that it would take the dent out of the crease... we'll see.. thanks for posting up!

FLAMSP- i did try that little trick.. it helped a bit. but being that it's on a crease, it's a no go... it would help if it wasn't on the body line either.

I bought it used @ 40 000kms just under 2 years ago....always thought my front was lower but figured i was crazy. went to a mazda meet with a spicy and another titanium and parked beside them and my front was definitly a hell of a lot lower. relized i must have springs, cant figure out how to check. any ideas on how i can check what they are? i took off the rim but it doesnt say anything other then some series number....

The 03 rear lip looks A LOT like the rear valance of a p5. The MP3s and 03 MSPs came with them, the 03.5 is more sporty and noticeable. Me & you both have the 03.5 rear lips.

It is only slightly melted around the circular area over the top of the muffler tip. I'll get some pics next weekend if ur still interested. Could easily be fixed and repainted :) Your call.

SOOO- i went to fix the broken stud-noticed it's hanging out quite a bit, so i'ma hold off a bit until i'm ready to take off the mani/turbo for the FMIC...

i put 4 Hankook ventus II on.. they ride nice.. got them for 265.00(CRAIGSLIST BABY)

I'm missing something... why are you removing your mani for a FMIC install, and what good does a CS exhaust do you for a manifold leak? am I missing something?

i think he is removing it to fix a broken stud! make sure to change the manifold gasket and manifold to turbo gasket when u do so!

it actually wasn't a broken stud. just a missing one. i took the mani off to replace the gasket. put all new bolts in. good as new.

the cs exhaust is for the exhaust leaks.

my wheels are powdercoated now. but when they were painted.. i sanded them down with 120, self etching primer, paint, and clear.

well. today ... i- sanded the wheels primed and coat#1&#2 of paint. painted my door moldings cuz they were faded. and painted my calipers blue.. lotsa painting.. exhaust is due in tomorrow. oil change and exhaust for me.

yea ive done a front Grille on a dude's EM2 civic, and it came out nice, we just sanded it down and primered it and then painted it, and cleared it, and it looks just as good as if we took it to the shop.

in our experience with the rattle can paint. it matched perfectly.
its SMELLS REALLY NASTY THO, almost like a rotten dead animal smell....
but other than that it matched the paint very nicely.
what i did was take a GIANT fan and had it next to the grille and had it suckin up that extra particles and stuff in the air and fanned away so it didnt smell and it helped speed up the drying process :D

nice MSP you got there, I don't know about the yellow overlays though. Also, the interior shot of your car, what is up with all of those Mercury Cougars parked in front of you? Anyway, I see your stock airbox is missing the elbow on the front where that hole is and also it looks like your bpv is on backwards. Isn't the arrow supposed to point towards the firewall, because from the looks of it, it is recirculating back into the hotpipe instead of the intake. That would be a lot of compressor surge.

cool, i see the fmic behind your grill. I was just curious about the cougars, thanks. But, the bpv does look like it is on backwards. I am 99% sure the arrow points towards the intake not the intercooler. not a big deal though, it is a quick fix if it is wrong.

what a coincidence...I was getting off of work earlier today to find a scratch on my window!!! and I found a scratch on my drivers side door!! I know I didn't do it because I had washed my car before I went to work and nothing was there. I usually try to park alone when I am in a parking lot because I don't like parking next to other cars. so, i did the front wheel bearings today.. i was getting a horrible shutter/wheel hop when i would attempt to go from a stop.. ever since i got the car. i really thought the main issue was the control arms as they were EFFED.. that helped a bit..

but the main issue was the bearings.. they were horribly gone.. i don't have a press yet, so i used a hammer and direct blows for the procedure.. to get the hub off, it too NO effort.. my wheels might have fallen off if i got a good race or hard start at some point.. scary!.. anyways.. replaced the bearings, all is well. no stutter, no squeeky noise anymore. only good stuff..this makes me INCREDIBLY happy.

so, what's left??

Front and rear brakes
outer tie rods.

paint and fix the dents/keyed marks.

then, for sale for sale.!!
