Did a search and my question really was not answered. Speed6 has hub centric wheels correct? Well then how would the wheeltek spacers on your site work? The rims i want are a 18x8.5 +48 offset, and im looking to bring the offset to 40 with a 8mm spacer.
Now the center bore is 67.1 which matches the stock bore i believe but i am just unclear as to how this will affect the centering of the rims when all is said and done. i dont want to bend lug bolts, and i really dont need vibrations at 65mph as i drive alot of highway.
any and all help/insight is muchly appreciated.
i did a search and read 3 threads with "spacers" in them and found nothing related to the hubcentric topic.

sorry about the delay
The problem with the wheeltek spacers is that they are not hubcentric so on an 8mm spacer you will get vibrating issues most likely.
Also, you cannot use your stock studs with 8mm spacers.
What wheels were you looking at?

well to be really honest, i dont wanna have to pull the fenders but rolling is ok.
a 18x8.5 with +45 offset is what i really want.
Do the svn's come in those specs?

I was looking at those or the 18x8.5 DPTs and was going to add 5mm spacers for a litle extra clearance on the insides. I noticed the spacers Wheeldude's site are only $10(?) but H&Rs on other sites are typically $70-90. I didn't even stop to think that the spacers would add a vibration or balance issue.
Now I'm rethinking what wheels and size I want to get. Hell, I might say screw it and go with the 18x9 DPT 44et and add just the 3mm spacer up front.

they are 18x9 +42
a 18x9 +44 would be a +41mm offset
that's pretty much the same thing as 18x9 +42 :D

They've been offered in different sizes and offsets before. He once offered me a 18x8.5 SVN with 45offset in gunmetal and I should have jumped all over that but wanted to wait to see what the new Grids and DPTs looked like.
a 45offset 18x8.5 SVN would be nearly perfect with some rear fender rolling and 235/40s.
