done a full speed protege swap into a P5.

im wondering if its even possible to take the full motor and turbo set up and put it in my P5 that is in need of a motor soon

The motor is the same. yes, people have put the msp turbo kit on a p5 and reg pro for that matter.

the internals, manifolds, cams, and whatnot are all the same?

cams are different but other then that they are the same. The msp came with a griddle that was bolted between the block and oil pan for the oil return line.
