Volk Ultra C wheels [Archive]

So I tore up my stock tires pretty good at my last track event & needed tires asap. But w/ no money to spend right now, I decided to dust off a set of Volks I had in storage. These are my race/drift wheels for my 240, but since my Mazda is my daily, it gets them. They are Volk Ultra C wheels (forged 2 peice), 17x8" & 17x9". I had to use a set of 5x100 to 5x114.3 wheel adaptor to get these puppies to fit. I know it may look weird, cuase of the whole 3 spoke look & them being a staggered wheel set-up, but like I said, they are temporary.

hahaha looking whack!!! but what's more whack than the wheels is that nose bra you have on.. you're ruining your paint man.

I dont think they they look bad, definitely different but not bad.

What is bad is the front tires looking like that.. Trying to figure out how that happens to a tire...

I know it's not the best look, but I'm working w/ what I got. They may be wack looking, but at least they're real Volks so they're lighter than my stockers and help me at the track.
As far as the bra goes, I commute a minimum of 120 a day, so I need some sort of protection against rock chips. Yeah I know I coulda gotten a clear bra, but I went this route instead.

Time attack at a local course. Those stock tires lasted over 23K miles & weekly track days since mid april.
