does any one know if the prosport AFR gauge on Protege garage is any good? As in does it give an accurate reading?

i have a autometer cobalt style guage for air/fuel. when accelerating the guage shows the proper reading, when at idle or casual driving it bounces all over. looks cool but pointless. i was told a wideband sensor would make the guage function properly...

Honestly I have a Narrow band A/R guage..It's useless only a light show. Save a little more and get a wide band find a used one on ebay or craigslist. narrow band isn't worth it

that's the one that i have. is that what you're talking about? because that's a wideband, not a narrowband.

No i am was curiouse about the narrow band one. I have the corksport exhaust and really do not feel like having to have the bung welded into the exhaust!

Narrow bands are just for looks IMO. If you want accuracy get a wideband. You won't regret it. I'm currently using an Innovate wideband and am happy with it. Heres a diagram of Narrowband vs. Wideband.....
