She thinks this is Chuck E Cheese or something

Wish me luck guys....I scored big on some freshly powder coated Enkei RPF1...the specs are 17x9.5, ET38....I plan to run the kumho XS 255/40/17

I test fitted just the rim to my car...the back fits fine and sticks out a little bit...the front fits as well... except the front, its REAL close to the strut....I can fit about 5 credit cards in between though....so just barely enough room to work...the rear inside clearance is about twice the front...plenty of room to work with

my rear fenders are rolled flat

255/40/17 should be a tad skinnier for the 17x9.5 rim...hopefully the tire doesn't bulge out the rim's lip....it should sit flush, or stretched towards the inside

Pictures of it mounted on the car very soon!

Btw, if anybody is interested in my old rims, here they are!

Yes stock suspension...with rear fenders rolled...the tires OD is 25.00 inches....its definitely shorter than most setups out there...I am hoping it will give me some clearance especially at stock height...

Ideally I should get BC coils and run with full max on the dampers...and maybe drop the car about half an inch more....I think anything further than that, I'll be cutting too close to the tires

wish me luck guys :)

well I can say for sure 18x9.5 +48 WILL NOT fit on MS3 front suspension....maybe the rears, but not the front

my 17x9.5 ET38 is VERY close to hitting the front strut....I would say 4-5mm of space...so if you run ET48 which is 10mm closer to the suspension, game over :(

I will definitely post up pictures and let everyone know how it goes...if this thing does not fit, or if it rubs way too much for daily....then I can always sell it....I know a few mid sized sedans would look great with 17x9.5 ET38

I can't wait to see the RPF's in that size on your car. I almost bought the exact same spec on craigslist like 4 months ago. If anything, go with tire stretch to avoid more rubbing. Maybe 235/45 or 245/40 tire?

Here's what RPF's look in 17x9 +45 with 235/45/17 Bridgestone RE-01:

How is the grip with those Kumhos? Can you break the tires free in 1st or second at all from a straight line?

i have taken some local speed bumps and dips and have yet to get them to rub....now you have to realize I do slow down on these bumps, just as I would if I lowered my car...am I going to take them at full speed just so I can get the suspension to fully compress? Nope............will I ever encounter something on the road that will cause my suspension to fully compress? I doubt that as well...

The grip on the Kumhos are extremely sticky....I have tried to slam it in 1st and 2nd gear....but they still spin...LOL....but I do have all bolt ons minus exhaust manifold & tune

well I guess after experimenting, stock height has enough clearance for 255/40/17...and our dampers are stiff enough to hold up tight cornering...thats all I can think of
