i have a friggen one car garage, and sadly, the mazdaspeed3 falls short in the automotive pecking order. i washed and waxed both my car, and my wife's subie. life would be sweet with a 3-car garage. spring time pollen gets all over the cars immediately.
what about you guys and gals?

Sadly, I don't have a garage. AND I live in the country... So between birds crapping on my car, pollen, leaves and other stuff falling from trees.... I feel your pain.

Luckily i get to park my car in the garage, im more worried about theft and vandalism than pollen and bird crap. It does help extend the life of the wipers too though, still have original wipers after a year.

Garaged. Though, for the first ~6 months I had it I was living in downtown Chicago and only had street parking...I told my fiancee I'd agree to move for her fellowship as long as we could get a house with a garage. (lol2)
She obliged.

Two car garage in my house but my car isn't in it :(
One spot is taken and the other is filled with crap and has no garage door opener. I'm hoping to install an opener and remove the crap over the summer so I can start parking in the garage after 1 year with the car.

My apartments are in the forest
Garaged here, and when I used to drive to work, I had a space in a covered parking garage at work, too. Now it just sits in the home garage waiting for me to turn the key two or three times a week.

When I first got it, my MS3 wasn't in the garage. I let me girlfriend keep her black Ford Escape in there, along with my Mustang.
Then the top of a Maple tree fell on my MS3 in Feb 2008. So I broke up with her and now my MS3 is in there. Ta-da!

Seems like a good enough reason to me.

I usually have it garaged while the Miata sits in the glaring 115*F sunlight in Vegas. But I do tend to switch it up sometimes. Both cars get waxed every two weeks and claybar twice a year.
(Damn one car garages)
I started to garage my MS3 once some nice guy smashed my drive-side window in my drive way and took only one thing. My ipod. Learned my lesson about leaving things noticeably, even in front of your own house in a safe neighborhood. Sigh...

I didn't read that correctly at first and thought you had the same problem as me.
A few years ago one of my cars got totaled while it was parked on my driveway because an idiot neighbor fell asleep at the wheel ._.

Garaged. I fire her up every now and then. Maybe 3 times a week. I comute in another car. I have a two car garage but need the other half for my toolchests and beer drinking. Or I'd park my other car in it. So My Speed actually has elbow room. :)

I've been thinking, I bet with the rear seats folded down and a blanket, the hatch of the MS3 could be a cozy little love nest.

Unfortunately mine sits outside. Get too paranoid about dings or scratches by callous roommates who park next to my car. I am willing to sleep outside and give the speed my room. If only I can somehow get it upstairs into my room........(hmm)

My car sleeps outside. My car isnt scared of the elements :) My moms car is in the garage. Sad because she doesnt even keep it clean. While im strugglin to clean mine off everyday it stays outside. wtf. cats walk on it. Birds shit on it. They shit on it as im washing it. Or better yet they wait for me to wash it and dry it off then a bird flies by...

Tiny 1 car garage here in my apartment, 2.5 car garage in the house I'm building so I'll have room for the MS3 and the '73 240Z I'm resto-modding.

I rarely park in my garage. Oh well. That's what happens when you have 6-7 cars and 2 of the cars don't even run and my parents don't want to get rid of them.
i say 1 car wash a month. maybe 2 at most.

First 6 months it sat outside. Despite all the waxing I did, I have the water marks on the roof to prove it, can't get rid of them. Now that I have a house it sits in the garage next to wifes car. Still doesn't matter tho, couple trips to work (I'm a teacher) and theres pollen all over it. I probably end up cleaning/touching up/washing/ this car at least every other day. I've noticed that's pretty common though among most speed3 owners. That new show "Obsession" should do a special on us, lol.

It's garaged, but gets driven 20K+ a year anyway, so it's rarely as clean as I would like it to be.

Mine is garaged in the little 3rd car stall... I probably am going to have to street or driveway park it during the day for most of the summer because all my little brothers bikes/skateboards/toys and shit are all in the 3rd garage too.

Car cover, tint the windows with UV protective film, or keep this stuff regularly applied: http://www.myboatstore.com/aerospaceprotectant.asp
Same for the dash too I'm sure.

Good thing about using the garage in the winter...the heat from the engine will cause the snow in the wheel wells to melt. Always a plus.
