i resently aquired two of these

i now need an amp to power them. they are the two ohms. i dont want to spend a lot of money. this isnt a permanate setup. thanks.

Why does permanent affect the amp choice?
You can uninstall and reinstall an amplifier dozens of times.

The alpine MRP-M500 would be the least powerful/expensive I would go with.
$180 for 500 watts RMS is hard to impossible to beat.

Keep an eye on crutchfield though. You can get lucky every now and again.
I just grabbed a Kicker SX650.1 for under $250 from them last week.
The amp was on sale for about 3 days before being selling out.

Just found this clarion, looks like it puts the kicker I just got to shame.

850 watts rms @2 ohm (which is what your subs will be)
for $200 is nuts.

Really wish I had waited.

I have an MTX 6500, I highly recommend it, it is 500watt RMS at 2ohm. Probably be able to get one cheap somewhere as it is an old amp.
