When appling the brakes. The wheel jumps one inch to the left. But the car tracks straight when stopping.
No play in the steering wheel.
No play in front wheel bearings.
No play in suspension

+1 on the more info. If it only occurs while pressing the brake pedal, I would check out your front and rear brakes. I recently replaced my rotors and pads and hoooo what a difference it made. It's amazing how smooth it is now when stopping.

These guys are leading you in the right direction. The wheel jumping sounds like a sticking caliper. But if the car is tracking straight when stopping, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
How long has it been doing it? Is it possible that there may just be a small rock or pebble caught in between the rotor and brake pad/caliper?
