View Full Version : Not Actual Mileage

I just changed out my instrument cluster, and the mileage on my MSP went from 67k to 54k because of the swap (my temp gauge was not working, and so I figured it would be easy to just swap them out).
Is there any way I can avoid getting a "NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE" title on my car?
Thanks!

Don't tell the BMV and they won't ever know. Be honest if/when you sell the car, but nobody would ever know the difference.

That was one of my ideas... I have the old panel still (not gonna get rid of that one) and the new one's original mileage, so that should work.
But when I smog it, the smogger must enter the mileage read on the instrument cluster, so that would be way off...

I didn't think about emissions checks. Here in the midwest we don't care about the environment... (dunno)
