View Full Version : Anyone done this to MS6 headlights??

wondering if anyone tried or thought about converting some intergrated projector foglights like some of the mazda 6 have.

could modify our headlights just for that projector?
Any info be helpful. or photos! lol

yes its been done you might want to pm Block8head. hes done it to his MS6 and it looks sick especially when all lights are on.

its easy, I had to take a non fog headlamp and convert it for my car, you just need the projector assy itself, the wires to plug it in are most likely still in the light

I have the fog lamp projector assy, but there is nothing to bolt this assembly to the inside of the headlamp.

Some pictures? a how to will be great!

theres the "dummy" piece thats in the headlight. Theres 1 or 2 small phillips head screws holding it in place, you take that out and bolt the fog assy in.. unfortunately I didnt take any pics when I painted my bezels and installed my HID

In 2004 model car the same bolts holding the dummy plate, hold the fog lamp asembly. But in 2006 to 2008 models there is a diferent head lamp and there is no way to hold the fog lamp asembly in place.

I will be very satisfied if proved wrong, but there is custom fab of a small braket to hold the fog lamp asembly in place.

Please some body with a 2006 and up trow some light in this.
