what motor oil should i use?

i got a 2006 speed 6 , bout to do my first oil change... what do you guys recommend?
also i called the dealer and they told me to stay away from synthetic? is this true??

I would not recommend using anything but synthetic. Go with a name brand 5w-30 synthetic and you should be good to go.

most mazda dealers carry mobil1 synthetic, do it. and my mazda dealer was happy to switch me.

Have any records as to what oil has been used to this point? Also, read and search, this is covered a couple hundred times.
