I remember back at 15k or so the dealer wanted 110$ for some fuel system service. I think they run some stuff through the tank to clean injectors and stuff.
Is this necessary? Can I just get some fuel injector cleaner from and autoparts store and run it through on my own?

Is this necessary? no.

i've heard good things about Lucas & Gumout fuel system cleaners, but can't personally vouch cause i haven't tried them. frankly, if you are using good-quality gas, and esp 93 octane, and at only 15k miles, i seriously doubt your injectors are clogged...

I'm at 29k now. And I only have 91 octane around here, I try to stick to Shell, Mobil, Chevron, ect.

That is not necessary either.
Just use good gasoline like Chevron or Shell.
