I have a question for anyone that has this intake. After letting the computer "learn" the intake I was surprised to find that sound of the turbo spooling was audible before 2500RPM but went away after about 3500. I hear the blow off at 5500 when I shift but that's it. Can anyone confirm this lack of sound after 3500 rpm? The car feels stronger throughout and the spool is quicker.

what you hear is really just the vaccum of air from the intake turning into compressed air that is heard at a higher frequency as the turbo spins, it doesnt go away its just that all the air is flowing too fast and too dense to make the prior noise, if you go into a higher gear, step on the gas all the way from 2200rpm-2900rpm and let go, you will hear the recirc.

Yep your hearing the air not the turbo. Go WOT at around 3500 rpm and listen carefully and you should hear a high pitched turbo that sounds like a semi truck is next to you.

Unless you're running some sort of tune, you will have a tapering effect on boost as you approach redline.

Thanks guys. I thought a SRI would be louder than this. I think it's very quiet.

As a precaution, check all your connections and make sure everything is tight, so you don't have any boost leaks in the system.

Yup, I checked all of them. Thanks again.
