Pro Kit Issues

Hey everyone. Just installed the eibach pro kit yesterday and had no issues. However after a night I still have three fingers of rear wheel gap (more then stock). Everything was installed correctly.

I know springs need time to settle but I'm freakin out a bit. Do I wait it out or give eibach a call tomorrow? I will attach some pics later.

I am wondering if not preloading the rear suspension and letting it droop may also be the cause. I am wondering if I should jack it up and put some load on the suspension to set and bushings back in. Our cars aren't exactly heavy in the rear.

Stock struts btw.

really? i could have sworn i had the springs on the stock struts for a while before i got the illuminas?

Stock struts or not, should be lower then that, Have you took a look and made sure its not hanging up on anything?

Thanks for the responses guys. When I assembled the strut I made sure the spring was seated correctly in both the upper pocket and lower pocket. I drove it last night and even hit some bumpy roads to test. I love the feeling of the springs and heard no unusual noises from the rear.

I am going to fully disassemble the rear again tomorrow and reassemble to be 100% sure. I will even take pics. If it still sits the same I will call eibach.

Also I know they are the stock struts and I know everyhing about the higher perch but I would be satisfied if it went atleast a little lower. Heck give me .25" from stock I will be happy.

here is a picture of my car on the pro kit springs with 16 rims. Yours does seem kind of high. Maybe you installed the kit for the p5 and not the sedan? They make 2 versions by the way.

That is a major issue right there. You are not supposed to tighten up anything in a droop. Hand tighten, lower car back on the ground, tighten up to torque specs.

Should this be done on any kit you install? I put on an Evotion kit on my MSP
and didn't even think of this .... is that a bad thing?
