i think you need to store voice tags on your car first before making any voice dial...

there is a tutorial that walks you through the setup, and tells you how to make a call. Not sure if you tried it or not. After i did, i saved my tags, then once i want to make a call, All i had to do was press the lift reciever button on the steering wheel, say call, then you say the tag, and the car says is that right, then say yes, and it worked fine for me right from the start! hope you figure it out!!

On the manual, it says
BT Setup > Pair Device > Link Change > Pair Delete > Device Info > Go Back
But I don't see Link Change and Pair Delete in my sGT.
Do you have any idea?

My guess is that it isn't paired yet. You probably only get those options when there is a pair to delete or change.

I have 3 devices paired already.
2 iphones and 1 audio bluetooth.
I have asked mazda technical support and they said, it needs to have more than one bluetooth audio (music) to show that options.
I am just confusing about that. I will try add one more music device to see what will happen.

I paired my iPhone without any voice training and it has yet to fail to recognize a name or a number. Perhaps my voice is close to what the computer likes to hear ;) As others have said, just go through the tutorial built into the system and you will be up and running in no time. Also, I had to restart the bluetooth on my iPhone to get it to do the initial pairing.

In my CX-9, it asks priority from 1 to 7 to add paired devices.
But in Mazda3, it does not. The first one paired will be added to device 1, the next will be in device 2 and so on.
But it only connect to device 1. Even though I have my phone as device 2, it won't connect to it even there is no device 1.
In my CX-9, if there is no device 1, it will connect to device 2 as it supposes to be.
What do you see in your BT Setup if you turn Audio Cont dial?
