am i retarded or am i making things up? wasnt there a sticky about valve chatter on the ms6? ive noticed my engine has been ticking more than usual, and i dont need an oil change so i was lookin to find some info..

I did a quick search too and didn't find anything. There have been a few people with issues with the VVT actuation pin breaking (Snooky was one) which causes noise, but a search for VVT didn't even turn anything up. Having said that, there is a known issue with it, maybe tunersteve or one of the other mods can steer you in the right direction.

I have been wondering about this as well. Wondering what the stock car is supposed to sound like at idle....?
I might just record it and post for you guys to listen to and respond.

Yes, low volume clicking is normal. If it starts becoming louder and sharper, something may be wrong.

A little valve chirp never hurt anybody.
