I have problems getting enough power to my stereo system. Every time I turn the dial up some I have flashing background lights caused by the power drain, can't be good for the ECU and other electronics in the car.
So far I have tried changing battery (Stinger Dry Cell, 1200CCA), 2 Farad capacitors, homemade grounding kit and a seperate ground wire to the subwoofer amplifier.
Next step would be to put a normal battery (or even better a lightweight braille) in front and put my stinger in the trunk serving the amplifiers only togehter with the 10 Farad capacitor battery on it's way, hope that will work!
I have bought a stinger battery seperator http://www.stingerelectronics.com/productDetails.aspx?delineate=736&CategoryID=12&ParentID=1 and want to install it to seperate the 2 batteries, but I can't seem to find any markings on it. It's clear where to put the cable from one battery to another, but I'm unclear of the control wires. Is there a polarity issuse to worry about, and where is the cable from the alternator I need to parralell into, and does the signal connect to ground or give +12V?
Any help appreciated.
