Just a quick reminder that the Barber Sportscar Classic (http://www.nasa-southeast.com/2009May30.jsp) is being held by NASA (https://www.nasaproracing.com/event/837) May 30-31st. HPDE entry is $399, and for new drivers an annual $40 NASA membership is required. I'll be there in my MS6 and looking at the entry list I see three MS3's as well as a bunch of RX-7's, RX-8's, and Miata's. Barber Motorsports Park (http://www.barbermotorsports.com/) is a world class road course and this is an excellent opportunity to hone your driving skills in a safe controlled environment. The High Performance Driving Event (HPDE) entry includes an in-car instructor and three 20 minute track sessions per day (at least). In addition to HPDE there will also be racing in these classes: SpecE30, SpecMiata and 944Spec, American Iron / CMC, Honda Challenge and GTS Challenge, Thunder and Lightning Sprint Races, 2 Hour Endurance. Spectator entry is $15 per day or $25 for both Saturday and Sunday.
See you there!

PS: there'll be YouTube footage afterward if you can't make it... hopefully this time it won't end in a string of expletives (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Szh1zc9lAc).
