I have a full corksport exhaust and a cpe nano inlet combo and a v103 stage 2 + sf map. I noticed today that there was like black soot coming out of the exhaust and then they was some on my driveway. I started the car after about 2 hours driving earlier today. after I came home I ran my finger around the tip and rubbed my fingers together and it was a smooth texture and dry. any ideas?

Its carbon and excess fuel.

Normal. I'd be worried that you were running dangerously lean under engine load if you did not have that black soot.

When you say you have the "full" Corksport exhaust, are you saying that you have a turbo back system with bigger DP/RP? Are you catted or catless?

A black lining of the exhaust tips is normal even for the stock exhaust. A true TBE will be even more likely to look that way.

I think it is a big deal

I think runnin open loop and squirtin injectors like a ron jeremy remake is a poor way to control detonation

when i mean underneath it means lets see, on the ground UNDERNEATH the tip. i am completely aware how these cars run rich and the tip is extremely black.

So are you running VTA then? If so that's the reason you are noticing a lot more fuel coming out of the exhaust.

I have a catless DP/RP and get the same "soot" you describe. If it let the car sit and idle for several minutes and then "clear its throat" so to speak, by blipping the throttle, it will throw some particulate soot on the concrete a foot or so behind the exhaust tip. I consider this is to be expected and normal for a rich running turbo car with free flowing exhaust.
