Do you mean the RX-8 R3 wheels? The rest of the RX-8 trims have 18in (the same rotary engine cue wheels as the 2010 MAZDASPEED3)

Sport to Grand Touring (or GS to GT in Canada): 18-inch aluminum alloy with 225/45 R18 tires
R3: 19-inch forged aluminum alloy with 225/40 R19 tires

I just got my RX8 wheels (18") and now I'm shopping for tires. Recommendations? I like L.Swabby and Can'tcount Tires as we usually swap off wheels and use their free fix a flat repair.

Suggestions on good quality but cheap 225/45 R18 tires? I know, cheap and quality:(, but the Mazda5 will not be racing or cornering hard. I just need a good tire and great traction in wet conditions (Tacoma, WA!)

And sure - it's the tire size that you'll need to watch.

Love those wheels, but please open another thread to keep this on topic :). I've seen several Mazda5 owners with those in the forums, I'm sure it is an easy one

Thanks!

to an extent but when the cost of the rims is near 30% of the value of the car....(boom01)

I eamn eventually common sense has to kick in over style. I think. right?
