Ok, so back in 04 when the dash kits were incredibly expensive I bought one and ebayed by stock stereo to afford the deck I wanted. Recently some incredibly nice person broke into my car and in the process of stealing my deck broke the after market dash kit literally in half. Needless to say I just gave up and decided to buy a stock part off ebay and reinstall for about $50 as opposed to the $300 to put back what I had before.
My wiring harness is 100% stock. All plugs are connected to the used stock deck. All radio knobs and buttons work; steering wheel volume and presets work; and LCD screen above the used deck works. I can see channels change and volume go up and down, mute and un-mute on the digital LCD but I have no sound at all.
Anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong here? Did I end up with a BOSE Deck? Would that even cause this problem?
